The "On The Road" Messenger Bag by Time Resistance (in black) is my number one bag for those quick runs to the mall, supermarket and any other places where I don't plan to be out all day or stay too long.
I bought The Stranger Messenger Bag (another TR product) for those days when I'm out all day shopping and running errands, when I need to carry more stuff. But, then there are days when I just need to make a quick visit to the supermarket or to the mall, and I don't need quite as much stuff. In those cases, this bag (On The Road) is the perfect size for everything that I need to carry for those quick runs.
This messenger bag is stylish and small, it is made from full-grain leather, vegetable tanned, made in Italy, it has sturdy hardware and YKK zippers. While the bag is small and compact, it can still fit all of the essentials that you need to carry with you on those weekend errands (small umbrella, water bottle, shopping bags, keys, wallet, phone, etc.).
Over the years, I have learned that there is no one bag which fits all occasions (based on my own lifestyle - subjective to everyone). As such, I have different briefcases, messenger bags, slings, and clutches (other stuff too) all from Time Resistance for various occasions and outings. However, this bag (On The Road) definitely fills the need for a small and casual bag for those quick runs, where I don't want to be lugging around a larger bag. Think minimalist and lightweight for those occasions.
The bag looks quite discreet (not cumbersome), elegant, handsome, and is quite spacious (given it's tiny size). The design of the bag is also important, what is lacks in length, it makes up for in height. Just enough to still keep it small, compact and stylish.
